Philadelphia, PA -- First Wave Sports Marketing flourished at today's 2010 MLS Superdraft with three of top ten selections and seven in the first two rounds. First Wave had eleven players selected overall, including three players from the 2010 Generation Adidas graduating class.
First Wave players selected in the first round include Teal Bunbury (4th overall, Kansas City Wizards), Zach Loyd (5th overall, FC Dallas), and Blair Gavin (10th overall, Chivas USA).
The rest of the First Wave clients selected in Thursday's draft include Toni Stahl (17th overall, Philadelphia Union), Tim Ream (18th overall, New York Red Bulls), Andre Akpan (22nd overall, Colorado Rapids), Steven Beitashour (30th overall, San Jose Earthquakes), Steven Kinney (45th overall, Chicago Fire), Sean Johnson (51st overall, Chicago Fire), Nane Joseph (53rd overall, Toronto FC) and Jamel Wallace (59th overall, Seattle Sounders FC).
